This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Oy vey!

There is just too much excitement going on in our house...please make it stop!

Long story short.....John and I took an ambulance ride down to Phoenix Children's this morning (Daddy followed in the car.) His button had fallen out and we could not get a new one back in....it was oozing blood and he was screaming in pain. I knew the firemen would not be able to do it so as soon as they arrived we had them call for an ambulance because we needed to get to PCH ASAP! We had a limited amount of time before the hole closed up. Luckily, we brought an extra button with us because....the ER only carried Mic-Key buttons and we use the Nutriport. Anyhow, after waiting for what seemed like forever the Dr. finally put the new button in.....the poor little guy cried his eyes out:(

But on a happier note....he is feeling 100% better and that nasty virus is a thing of the past. Thanks for all the well wishes!!!

I'll leave you with some cute pictures of the main man (they are from our vacation...off Grandpa's camera.)

Chillin on Aunt Alli and Uncle Craig's porch.

Oh no! Poor baby! I am sorry to hear that! Carter just got his Bard removed last week in the office (I can't believe they just grab and yank...it was horrible!) and changed out to a Nurtiport as well. With the Bard we never really worried about it coming out...but, they did tell us the horror stories of what you just went through. It is so hard to see your baby crying and hurting and knowing you can't intervene because it's a means by which they live and thrive. I am sorry! I hope you are all feeling well again and I hope we get to see you soon!

Aww, poor little guy. What a scary thing. How does something like that just "pop" out? That would worry me all the time.
I, too, love that picture on the beach there. Looks so nice...
