This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Team John 2009!

Well, Team John had another wonderful turn out at March for Babies (our friends and family never cease to amaze us.) Even with the tough economy, we were able to raise over $5,000....which makes our grand total (over the past 3 years) to OVER $21,000.

I cannot thank our friends and family enough for the love and support they have given us (and continue to give us) over the past 3 years. And on Saturday, we were once again reminded that we are not alone on this journey.

So, I once again thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being apart of our lives. We love you all more than you'll ever know!!!!

Bottomless Pit

Oh yes, my tube fed son is EATING us out of house and home.....and what a wonderful site it is!!!! His ST seems to think his tube may be removed as soon as 6 months.....but I am not so sure about that (nor am I ready for it.) You see, John is the healthiest kid around.....in his tube he gets, ALL organic (and all gluten free)...fruits, green veggies, yogurt, avocado, quinoa, beans, almond butter, walnuts, flax meal, flax oil, olive oil, and rice milk. It's also nice to have the tube when he's sick....we never have to worry about dehydration. However, it will be nice when the day comes and we can say sooooooooooo long G-tube!!!!

Saltines are his new favorite!

It's a tough decision deciding what book you want to read next:)

Life is Good!

Don't forget....we only have 10 days left until the walk. We are getting closer and closer to our goal of $4,000!!!!
And, if you haven't already then head on over to Queen Bee Designs by Amanda! Remember, she will donate a portion of every sale to the March of Dimes.....just mention, "Team John!"

Chuck E. Cheese

I am so behind on my updates.....for some reason I am feeling awfully tired lately:) No complaints here though!
Anyhow, yesterday John had a birthday party for a classmate at Chuck E. Cheese. He had so much fun and I loved watching all of his friends come up and hug him...they absolutely love him and it warms my heart to see such a neat group of kind hearted kids.

John loved the slide.

John and two of his friends dancing for the video camera.

The birthday girl wanted to dance with John....she was such a good helper.

Giving big hugs....she kept saying, "My friend John is so, so, so cute!"

As you can see, we all had a wonderful time!!!!!
