This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year.....in fact, the BEST one yet. John really got into the whole Santa thing and it was so much fun to see his face light up when he saw Santa (the real one) in person...

Christmas Eve was spent with Jamie's family. The kids looked adorable in their Christmas attire....and we had a blast visiting with everyone!

After dinner...we rushed home, told Ernie the Elf "night night," put carrots in the yard for the reindeer, left cookies and milk for Santa, and hopped into bed just as excited as could be!!!

My parents came over EARLY Christmas morning for breakfast and to open presents.

Then we headed up to their house for a yummy Christmas dinner!

Can't wait to do it all again next year:)

Recap

Okay....I am back in business!

Here's the short and sweet version of our latest happenings...

My sweet little boy turned 4 years old on the 30th. We had a 2 week celebration....and he deserved (and enjoyed) every second of it.

His birthday party was held at, Imagination Avenue, where he and 25 (yes, you read that right...this boy is popular) of his friends enjoyed an afternoon of imaginary play, pizza, ice cream and cake.

John wanted a Diego cake and Auntie Tracy didn't disappoint!!!!
He LOVED his cake!
The whole crew eating pizza...
And cake and ice cream!
John and his buddies from preschool!!!
Hippotherapy is back in session....John loves riding his horse, Misty.
One of John's new goals at school is to be able to write his name legibly.....I think he's mastered it already. What do you think?
John decided he was going to take his shirt off and put Daddy's on.
Sibling love
Kisses for his Sissy
Daddy took John out for the day while Mommy recovered from Black Friday shopping. When they got home John kept saying, "Momma Camel!"

Hope is talking and laughing like crazy. She weighed 12.9 pounds at her 4 month check up!!!

John can stand unassisted while singing, Jingle Bells and Frosty the Snowman (that's a long time) and can walk from the couch to the foot stool ALL BY HIMSELF (about 4-6 steps!) He weighed in at 32 pounds at his 4 year check up.

Phew...I think I am caught up now!
