John just can't seem to shake this nasty cough......my poor little baby. He isn't sleeping much because of it and with all the coughing comes more vomiting:( Ohhhhhh...I hope it ends soon. However, I do realize how lucky we are that we can mange this from home.....a lot of micro-preemies are hospitalized and need oxygen & breathing treatments when they get colds. We just continue to count our blessings.....and pray for it to end:)
Soooooo, since he hasn't been sleeping much because the coughing wakes him (he was up at 6:00am) and of course he wouldn't nap, the two of us headed up to Grams and Grandpa's for the afternoon. Thanks Mom and Dad for giving me a breather!!!
Note to self...put knee pads on your son before he crawls around on the flagstone:)

Poor John! I hope you get over this cough soon. I know you must all need some rest!
HI there, long time. Our comouter has been down for a while. We to have had the same choking/gagging make you throw up cough. Alot of my friends with children are experiencing the same thing. I actually took James in for a chest x-ray because I was affraid it was aspiration from his feeds, thank goodness the x-ray was clear. His nose is stuffy/runny too so it is a cold. a friend of mine from the NICU told me of a cough suppressant called Delsym 12 hour cough relief, it is without alcohol and contains no fever reducer or pain reliever, but I used it last night and James had no coughing and slept straight through the night. Just thought I would let you know. James has had his cough since wednesday last week. Doctor said it was viral and could last 2 to 6 weeks WHAT!!! YIKES. Hope John is well soon. Tracy
