This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.

Moment of Silence

Please take a moment of silence for my beloved breast pump. She was officially laid to rest today. I am free at last......and just in time for my 30th birthday!

We are once again doing the preemie two step. Two steps forward, one step back. John has formed tissue granulation around his button so we are headed back to the surgeon to have it burned off. It shouldn't be to bad......nothing a little Tylenol (with codeine) can't fix. My poor baby:(

Sound asleep in his big boy crib.......and it's only 5:30pm!

May the pump rest in peace and may you enjoy your red bulls and chocolate and wine or whatever you have cut out of your life for the sake of the pump! And hooray for you for keeping up with the pumping for so long--yay, Mommy!
