This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Silence Is Not Always Golden...

...when you have a 2 year old!

I get nervous when it becomes quite around our house. Take a look why..
Here is the little man pumping blended food ALL over himself.

And here he is putting the remote in the fireplace!

Not pictured is.....ALL of his toys swimming in the toilet!!!

Well, we are off to Neurology in a few hours...yuck! And then we have our 1st music class tonight..can't wait!

Time for child proofing! You are now officially on the road called "Staying One Step Ahead." Be prepared - the road is some twenty plus years long. Long in numbers but all too short in time! Finger painting, charcoal drawing, and a little science experiment with things that float - got to love Mr. Smartie Pants - he's always thinking!

Tons of love,
Grams

I live in fear of things in the toilet bowl. Hallie finds it really way too much fun to try and open it...I try to keep her to just flushing. Second fear: opening the downstairs diaper pail by reaching her little (long) arms through the baby gate that theoretically blocks it (and the kitchen) from her reach and actually getting something out. It's just a matter of time. We are totally in trouble, aren't we? And isn't it great (when it's not a dreadful mess)?
