This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Pulled an all nighter!

All nighters were much easier in college.......you could sleep the whole next day!!!
So, as soon as I finished posting last night........our long night began. Jamie and I switch off every night getting up with John........I know, I have the best husband in the world! Anyhow, last night was Jamie's night but I offered to take it because he hadn't slept well the night before. Little did I know I was about to pull an all nighter. So, around 10:00pm I heard him throwing up......I go in his room, get him cleaned up and put back to sleep....but only to realize his feeding tube had come loose and was pumping milk all over him. SO.........new PJ's and new sheets! The vomiting continued on and off until about midnight. I went to check on him and he was burning up so I took his temp.....sure enough his temp. was going up. The little guy was feeling yucky and all he wanted was to be held.....only problem, he wanted me to stand! So, here I was at 2:00am walking around the house with John in one arm and pushing his feeding pole around in the other hand. Needless to say I will be going to bed early tonight. On a positive note, I think his fever broke tonight and the pediatrician thinks this is from his MMR and not a virus.

What kind of post would this be without an adorable picture of my favorite baby:)
