This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Mr. 17 Pounder

The title says it all. Our LITTLE micropreemie has come a long way. As stressful as our life may be, I can't imagine it any other way nor would I want it......Okay, I could live without the vomiting.

This week we have PT, Dentist, and his IFSP. Don't ask what an IFSP is because I really don't know. It is some sort of evaluation. However, I'll let you know how it goes:)

WHOOHOOO..way to go John, you big 17 pounder! You are lookin' quite handsome in your new pics. Tell mommy not to worry about the IFSP b/c it's just a meeting to go over PT/OT and set goals for the next 3 months for therapy and the future. Keep up the great growth John!

Those little legs are looking downright chubby these days! Go John!!!! What a happy little boy you have! No worries about the IFSP - it's basically an IEP for the 3 and under crowd (we just did it ourselves a few weeks ago). Big hugs and kisses from us to your pumpkin.

Love,
Linda and Reeve

Thanks for easing my mind about the IFSP.

John doesn't fit in his Bumbo seat anymore because his legs are so chubby:)
