This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Twas The Day Before...

...John's first day of preschool!!!!
Now, we just need to try and find a way to bring his teacher an apple without him eating part of it first:)

YES, he really was eating it!!!!

So, I am a little nervous about tomorrow....nervous for me, not him! I have never left him with anyone other than our parents and while I know he'll be in great hands, the thought of me leaving him with complete strangers (to him) makes my stomach turn.

Wish us luck!!!

It was Aidan's first day today and I had similar feelings, but it went awesome! Good luck Mommy!

WOW! I can remember feeling exactly the same way when my babies went off to Preschool. I hope Mommy found some strength to get her through the day, and I cannot wait to hear how great John did today! How exciting for all of you! :)

Good Luck Jill!!! I am feeling for you!!!! What a hard day it was - but he will do great! I think it's harder on us Mommies! These boys are made of steel and preschool is cake to them. You'll be in our thoughts tomorrow!!!

The first day of preschool is always harder for us mommies than the kiddos. It doesn't matter how many first days you've had as a teacher, the first day of school as a mommy is tough! And yes, I sat in my car and cried after I dropped him off!
