This is the amazing story of our micro preemie, John Craig. He was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Quick Update.....

Just a quick update (because I've been a bad blogger!)

  • John loves the bells in the above pictures.....and loves to shake them while we sing Jingle Bells.

  • He got Botox injections today. I think we are going to see huge results this time around because he is walking so much more.

  • We got a Toddler bed (thanks Renneckars) and set it up in the play room. He/we aren't quite ready for it but at least it's here when the time comes. He is showing interest in it though and will climb up into it and lay his head down....with a huge smile on his face.

Hi there. Just found your blog through Shannon's. John reminds me of my son, Max--they are both such handsome, smiley boys! Max just turned 6 this week. He has mild cerebral palsy as a result of having had a stroke at birth. For a long time, he used the same walker John has. He had the blue version of his red chair. And, he loved to sit around shaking bells.
Come visit sometime!
