Below are a few cute pictures from Thanksgiving that I forgot to post!
Climbing the wall with Grandpa
Blowing out his candles.....his birthday celebrations lasted a little over a week!
He even gave his cake a hug. If you look closely you can see red frosting on his chin from the hug:)
Well, here goes with the updates...
Friday - We spent a good chunk of our day down in the ER at PCH....his button had fallen out sometime during the night (this has never happened before) and by the time he woke up and we noticed it the hole was almost closed. We couldn't get a new button in so we packed the little guy up and headed down to the hospital. They ended up putting a foley catheter in to stretch the hole and after what seemed like forever they were able to get a new button in. The day had a very happy ending though....Chris, John's primary NICU nurse, was working that day so she was able to visit with us in the ER!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday - We (Mommy) wrapped ALL the Christmas presents and put them under our tree.
Sunday - We delivered all of our gifts at the mall for our Christmas angle and then went to Aunt Jean's for her annual Christmas get together. John had fun playing with his cousins and going on walks with Grammy and Papa. He also took his first face plant earlier that day. He now has a lovely scab on and under his little nose. I am sure it is the first of many.
Monday - He had his 3 year check up with his pediatrician. Our big guy weighed in at 29 pounds (with clothes and shoes on but who cares) and is 35 inches long. The pedi. was thrilled to see him walking and has high hopes that he'll be talking away at his next visit.
Now, we are off to visit his preschool class!!!!

Poor little guy doin the face plant...never a fun thing to see happen.
He's growing and getting big! He weighs almost as much as my 6 year olds!!!
I just weighed Caitlyn and Alyssa the other day, C weighs (with clothes) 34 pounds and A weighs (with clothes) 32 pounds.
It's so great to see progress on a "failure to thrive". God is good!
