This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Finally!!!!

Okay, okay......enough of the hate mail.  I am back in business and posting a big ole fat post to get everyone caught up!!!

Life's been good.....BUSY, but good!  Hope finished her first year of preschool, is starting swim lessons again next week and can spell her name all by herself!!!!  Sooooooo proud of my little girl.  Johnboy is now a second grader, lost his eighth tooth, finished up his first baseball season and is doing awesome with all his therapies.  Soooooooo proud of him too.

Now get comfy, grab a drink and enjoy the update:)

Grams' Birthday

Hopie and I enjoyed an afternoon at our favorite restaurant, Pita Jungle, with Grams to celebrate her birthday.

It was a cold, raining, hailing, snowing kinda of day in Arizona.  Unheard of here in the desert.  We all enjoyed it.

Daddy/Daughter Day

These two got all dolled up and enjoyed a Saturday morning at Hopie's school.

They both LOVED their date!

Pinnacle Peak Mountain

John HIKED Pinnacle Peak with the rest of his classmates for a school field trip.  The smile on his face was priceless.  He was beaming with pride....and so were the rest of us.  As both my kids say, "We can do ANYTHING if we try, try, try."

St. Patty's Day

March 17th marked John's 7th adjusted birthday!!!

 I LOVE my little leprechauns.

Allergy Testing

And we have a positive for peanuts (we already knew,) horses and dogs!!!

Spring Break

There was a lot of cousin loving, dance partying, movie watching, pool enjoying going on this week.  We also enjoyed our annual Easter feast and egg hunt at Grammy and Big Papa's!!!!

Field Day

John did awesome and had a blast.....despite having the stomach bug the day before.

Pat's Run

The kids participated in their first Pat's Run.  They both did awesome and didn't stop once.

So proud of them!

Mother's Day Tea

We spent a wonderful morning at Hopie's school listening to her performance, crying like a baby watching the slide show, enjoying her artwork and eating cookies and tea (punch.)

Sickies

Two kids, two rounds of the stomach flu, two fevers, two positive strep cultures and too many colds to count.  Glad the school year is over and we can air out:)

Cubies

John loves, loves, loves playing baseball.  He did awesome this season and only used the tee the first two games.  The Miracle League is the greatest organization for special needs kids and we are beyond blessed to be a part of it.  Cannot wait for the season to start again in the fall.
Goooooooo Cubies!!!!!!

Easter in the Old Pueblo

We spent Easter in Tucson and had a blast.  The kids were super excited that the Easter bunny was able to find them there:)

Last Day of Preschool

I cannot say enough great things about Hopie's school.  She had an amazing first year.

Astronaut Day At School

Love these pictures!!!

Papa's Birthday Surprise

My Dad celebrated a big birthday this year yet he didn't want a single thing....all he wanted to do was go to the cabin and go fishing.  Soooooo, my brother and I decided to take the kids out of school, pick up some fishing poles, balloons, wine and Dad's favorite dinner and surprise him in Pinetop!!!!

We had a BLAST.  And, Papa was so surprised.  He was even able to cross something off his bucket list....fishing with his grand kids:)  Fortunately, all three caught a fish.

A HUGE thank you to my Aunt Sharon who let us bombard her cabin!!!

I am tired now:)  But, I am ALL caught up!!!
