This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29.11

I just found your blog and wanted to let you know that I am encouraged by it. Our twins were born at 25 weeks 2 days on Nov 12, 2011. Our son was diagnosed with a grade 3 and a grade 4 brain bleed. So far I've not met anyone else whose micro-preemie had severe bi-lateral brain bleeds, and it seems like the journeys of other preemies we know have been vastly different than our son's is turning out to be. Reading your blog has been such an encouragement. The verse you posted at the top is one I've clung to (along with Ps 139:16) for many, many years. It is WONDERFUL to KNOW that God has a plan...even when we can't figure it out or fathom what in the world He might be up to.
I also wanted to thank you for the "Imagine" post you wrote back in 2006. Powerful. And something I could relate to.
Thank you for sharing your story with me, a complete stranger (even though I know that's not what you intended to do. :)) God has used it to encourage me tonight...on a night I really needed some micro-preemie encouragement.
