This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Summertime

I seriously do not want summer to end.  We are having such a fun time.....and I LOVE having Johnboy home all the time.

Let's see.....

Hopie asked me yesterday how the Doctor got her out of my tummy......thank goodness I had a C-section and thank goodness she didn't ask me how she got in my tummy!!!!!  I am not ready for that talk yet:)

And, my tube fed son (who we were told would probably never be able to eat by mouth) ate TWO hamburgers yesterday.  Take that naysayers!!!!!  He also was showing me how he could walk to the potty and stand and pee-pee all by himself.  His words exactly, "Don't clap till the very end.  Don't say a word.  Keep your mouth closed and don't say anything until the end."  Hahahahaha!!!!!

Man, I LOVE these two!!!!

And, a big THANK YOU to my Aunt Connie and Uncle Bill who sent John a congratulations card on his 432 steps!!!!!!!!

Great kids, great accomplishments, great family, and great looking ice cream cones! However, something is wrong with this picture as Hope does not have a pink ice cream and neither child is dressed in a sweat shirt:):):) Miss you!
Oodles of love, Grams and Papa

First of all your family rocks...your extended family too. Second...that is so hilarious, JOhn's insistence on silence. He is so funny. Love you. See you tomorrow! Woot Woot!
