This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Back In Business

At just six weeks post op my little man is back at school (and out of the wheelchair).......he couldn't be happier!

I have to admit it's been nice having him home for the past six weeks.....not sure if he feels the same way though:)  The days and weeks flew by and were jammed packed with more physical therapy than you can imagine but we are making progress and couldn't be happier.

Keep up the good work, John boy!  We love you and are so proud of you.

Thrilled to hear how well John is doing!! Yes, he's an inspiration to all of us. Looks like his animal friends love him as much as well all do. Keep up the good work, John.
Love to all,
Aunt Holly

I just read through your entire blog - each and every post over the last five years! You have the most amazing attitude throughout this entire ordeal (which I commend you on, because sometimes having a micropreemie is EXHAUSTING!) You are such a marvelous family and I have truly enjoyed getting to know your sweet boy through your posts! So glad that his surgery went well - and praying that he continues to astound those doctors (what do they know anyway?!?!?) God bless!
