This is the amazing story of our micro preemie, John Craig. He was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

The Party

On Saturday we had Hope's birthday party. The day was perfect.....AWESOME weather and the best friends and family around to help us celebrate.

A very special day for a very special little girl!

My mom and I had so much fun decorating.....

First up, Hopie's chair!

The banner and ice cream bowl party favors.

Dining room table

Dessert table

Cupcake tower

Brownie pops

Grams and Hopie waiting for the guests to arrive.

The birthday girl with her beautiful Auntie's!

Getting ready to sing......yes, we tried it again!

No luck:( I even took the candle out....but she still wasn't having it. I guess we won't be making a trip to Sprinkles anytime soon.

At least she tried a brownie pop:)

John choosing his cupcake!

The night before (when I was making the cupcakes) he said he wanted me to make vanilla cupcakes without frosting......so guess what cupcake he choose (and ate?) Yep, a chocolate cupcake with frosting!!!! Too funny!

Getting the tickle torture from Papa.

Enjoying (I mean, spilling) someones Capri Sun:)

Paigers deciding what to play with next.

Sissy playing

My loves playing

Trying out her new ride from Grammy and Papa!

And finally tub time!

My birthday girl in her birthday suit!

Hanging with Uncle Chris....all cleaned up and in her jammies.

I must say, it was a GREAT day!!!!!!!!!
