This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Birthday Eve

In preparation for Hope's 1st birthday tomorrow (and birthday party on Saturday) we...

Tried on her birthday hat!

Made her blueberry muffins for breakfast tomorrow....and frosted hers pink with pink sprinkles.

We ate some of her muffins......to make sure they were okay:)

And we made her gifts bags for her party on Saturday. Again, we had to try out a lollipop just to make sure they were okay!

CANNOT believe it's been a year.....and cannot believe that my baby boy doesn't look like a baby anymore...sniff sniff.

Where did the last year go?! John is such a good helper. Hope is so lucky to have a big brother like him. Happy early bday to your sweet, beautiful girl. Sending lots of love and happy birthday wishes! xoxo

So cute!

...and naturally you had to taste the muffins....they could have had POISON in them... (gasp)

I always "test" yummy food before letting my kiddos be a victim to whatever toxins are in them ;-)
