This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Back in Business

My wonderful husband surprised me this morning with a new camera!!!!! So, here is what you all come to my blog for.....pictures of my BIG BOY!

John is growing and developing daily. His vocabulary is rapidly expanding (thanks to Music Therapy) and the tone of his voice is getting louder too. I love hearing my baby talk and the BEST is when he repeats after me:

Mom: "I"
John: "ah"
Mom: "love"
John: "uh"
John: "MAMA!"

He'll then do it again and say..."DADA!"

And, on Baby Girl news....we are STILL pregnant, still contracting, still on bed rest BUT only have 9 days to go!!!!!

Great news about John's excellent speech (I love his choice of wording, btw), Hope's continued baking (let's hear it for a few more days until full term) and the new camera.

Good luck this next week and we're praying for an uneventful next bunch of days.

Your big boy wearing daddy's BIG shoes!

Eli loves to wear his Papa's shoes. It's cute to see his little body walking around in those boat like shoes!

Take care of yourself....t-minus 8 days!

I just started reading your blog. My son is a 26 weeker. He's 2 now and still not talking. We have him in speech thearpy but all we can really get out of him is 1 letter sounds. What is musical therapy and how does it help? I'd be very interested in hearing back from you! Thanks
