This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

We LOVE Summer

Baseball, swimming, and ice cream.....life doesn't get better than this!!!

John loves the pool and is doing very well at kicking!

Yesterday I told him if he rested in his bed for 45 minutes then we would go swimming (AGAIN) when he was done. He did great...read a few books and laid in his bed quietly. As soon as I walked into his room to get him he started signing....swim, swim, swim!

He is so stinkin smart!

We have also entered new territory with our little Missy. As of today, I am officially pregnant longer than I have EVER been...24 weeks and 6 days gestation. Yesterday was a big milestone for us....it was the day I delivered John (gestation wise.) My next goal is 28 weeks (and then 32, 34, and 36.) I am confident I will make it...and know that God has big plans for this little family of mine.

I love reading up on John and your little family! I am so proud of him and amazed at his progress! I am THRILLED for you and your pregnancy! Isn't is strange that when you hear someone has made it 24 weeks, you begin to cheer?! People look at me like I'm crazy...but it is fabulous news and each day past that is truly a blessing! Congrats on your pregnancy & WAY TO GO, JOHN!

Isn't it funny/odd when you feel you've surpassed the last stage of pregnancy?!
I am glad you are doing so well!

I remember with Eli feeling so weird when i hit 26, 27, 28 weeks..and then going on to hit 35 and 36 weeks. It was almost unreal!
Watching how BIG my belly grew...seeing him move my stomach like i never have seen it move before!
All REALLY cool things to experience while you're pregnant!

Cute pics of John!!!

I second Katie's motion-- love the bump peeking into the shot. Hope will be entering a loving and lovely family. So happy for you.
