This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Fresh Breath

I know I sound like a broken record but, I am so proud of my little guy!!!!
We first took John to the dentist when he was 1 years old......they have been putting fluoride on his teeth every 6 months. Well, last week he got his teeth cleaned for the first time (2nd attempt though...1st attempt was 6 months ago.) His teeth were flossed, polished and the whole nine yards.....and he took it like a champ!!!!!
I couldn't be more proud to be the Mommy of this amazing little boy!!!

In other big news.....he ate an entire piece of pizza yesterday at Chuck E. Cheeses.

mmmm, pizza is a great one to love!

I remember drawing a stick picture out for my girls when they were 3 (and went to the dentist for the first time) showing their trip and what would happen while they were there.

They really liked having something to look at while they prepared themselves for this new thing.

They did really well and i was glad that i waited until they were a bit older...i think they would have freaked out if i took them at a younger age.
That is why i am proud that John did so well. I KNOW it's tough taking a little one to the dentist and expecting them to not be afraid and to sit still for it!

What a precious guy you have!

(oh and thanks for saying i am still beautiful....somedays looking at those fine lines and wrinkles can really bum me out!)
