This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Lots of Firsts

The three of use are experiencing a lot of firsts here in New England......and having a blast at it!!!

So far this trip (and we still have 5 days left...yippee) John has...

Flown on an airplane
Touched a live lobster
Ridden on a boat to Block Island
Taken a subway in Boston
Gone to Fenway Park (Daddy, Grandpa, and Uncle Craig went to the game)
Experienced Boston's famous Duck Tour

Someone made packing for the trip a little difficult:)

In route to RI!
John was so good on the plane.....even after the long delay in Phoenix!

Heading to Block Island.....our view from the ferry.

John loved crawling (and rolling) down this huge grass area on Block Island.

Heading to Boston

Relaxing at lunch while the boys take in a Red Sox's game.

Waiting patiently for our Duck Tour to begin.

Our view from the boat (Duck Tour.)
We absolutely loved Boston....it is so beautiful!

After a long (but fun) day!!!!

We are so pleased you are blogging from your trip. What a lucky boy John is to see so much.
It is so quiet here without him. Nellie and Arnold even miss him!
Bring back lots of pictures.
We love you all.

Wow, it looks like you guys are having a great trip! I am so happy for you, I haven't been to Block Island since I was 15...which was only like 10 years ago ;! I LOVE all the pictures and I was excited to see that I didn't have to wait until you got home to see pictures! Have a safe trip home!

Uh oh, Cooper is super jealous that you got to go to Fenway! We're planning on taking him next year- but don't tell him- it's a surprise!!!

Looks like you are having a great time. Hope you get to go to the North End for some yummy Italian food. The best meal we've ever had was in the North End. Also, try Flour Bakery for the best cinnamon rolls on the East Coast!
