OK....something is very wrong....the last few days here in AZ have been cold!!!! We went from 113 degrees on Monday to 56 degrees yesterday. We are definitely hitting some all time lows.....and loving it. We won't see this type of weather again until late October:)
On to other news....Thursday was my last day of teaching. It was a bittersweet day. I am ready to move on to bigger and better things but I will miss my co-workers (especially Michele who I job shared with) and students terribly. The good news is.....John will be going to school there so I will be able to be a home room mom...AND, hand pick his teachers (Nancy, you better stay put because we already have you picked out for 4th grade...tee hee.)
John is doing wonderful. His vomiting is (almost) a thing of the past. My advise to any and all parents that have been in my shoes....eliminate the MILK!!!! Rice milk is our new BFF.
He is also signing like crazy. The other day my mom looked in the back seat of the car and he was signing more music. Amazing!
Next week is our last music class:( He has done amazing in it so we'll be taking another class this summer.....and then another, and another, and another:) Swim lessons and playgroups are also on our list of summer activities.....AND, of course our vacation to Rhode Island, NY, and Boston....John's first plane ride. We cannot wait!!!
Now, I'll leave you with a little cuteness...

John, everytime I hear more of your wonderful achievements I get so excited. You rock!! Oh, and give your mommy and daddy a big hug for me for their anniversary!
What beautiful pics/ Congrats on the five years. I hope we will be amoung a play group. John looks bigger and bigger every time. TRacy
Happy Anniversary, Happy October weather, Happy end of the school year, and Happy Happy Getting Rid of Milk Day! As you guys know, that really improved the situation around here, too. We haven't totally moved on from vomiting, but the situation has improved so much.
Be careful of rice cheese slices, though: a lot of them actually have dairy in them. They make some good ones that don't---just have to be extra careful with the labels!

I was touched by your blog! I am so excited for John...eating grilled cheese is a big tadoo! (Sp?) I would be honored to have John as my student, whatever grade I will be teaching, but I am not going anywhere! Please keep in touch with your new venture! You are going to be awesome helping other families with micro preemies. John is one very lucky little boy!
By the way, congrats on 5 years!!!! You were a beautiful bride.... Hope to hear from you over the summer!
Nancy
Congrats on the fifth year!
This weather IS crazy. We (here in SoCal) are having similar weather and i don't like it.
I don't like HOT, but i don't like cold either. 78 is just fine with me!
Those pics of your little guy are great.
I like the first one with the cat. He looks so big in that one.
Hope you have a great week!
Look at you guys! I think that's the first picture of seen of the both of you yet on your blog. SUCH a beautiful couple. And John is super cute too, of course :)
