This is the amazing journey of our two miracles. John Craig was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him! Hope Amanda, our perfect little girl, is currently recovering from two brain surgeries to remove a 6cm mass from the center of her brain. Hope represents everything good in this world and she too is an inspiration to all.

2012 Wrap Up


What better way to wrap up the year than with a big ole fat post about.....The Most Wonderful Time of The Year!!!

Christmas was wonderful, truly wonderful.....everything about it.  And yes, I am already counting down  the days until we get to do it again.

My Boy Is Seven

I cannot believe this little man has been mine for seven years now!!!

On November 30th, he awoke to presents and a chocolate chip muffin, headed to school for some more celebrating and sweets with his friends and ended the day with more presents and more sugar!!!!!!

 The following day all of his friends gathered at the park for a soccer birthday party...where we played kickball:)  His friends were so sweet.....cheering him on during the game and whispering the happy birthday song so it wouldn't hurt his ears.

John, you are the most amazing, determined, courageous, brave, smart, funny and kind boy I know.  Thank you for landing us in Holland....I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
