This is the amazing story of our micro preemie, John Craig. He was born on November 30, 2005 at 24 weeks and 5 days gestation. He weighed 1 pound 8 ounces and was 12 inches long. John is a true miracle and an inspiration to all that meet him!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Love This Face

I LOVE little Hopie's scrunchy nose smile!!!! I could just eat her up.

And John.....I just can't give him enough kisses. Love my little man to pieces. I dread the day when I am not cool anymore.....and we can't hold hands or kiss in public.

Having Fun

We are having the most amazing summer......birthday parties, water parks, trips to the library with Grams, swimming and TONS of play dates.

My kids look like albinos next to the Poole family....tee hee!

For the record, this was a cold day in June (well, to all of us natives).....weird weather! All the kids were shivering.....blue lips and all but they didn't want to get out of the water! John kept saying, "A few more minutes, Mama! Pease!"

We're Getting There

We are making progress in the potty department. After one potty chair, two potty seats and a potty watch we finally are going pee pee on the potty.....periodically. He'll get it eventually and just like everything else, he'll do it when he's ready.

I love you big guy and am so proud of you!!!!!!!

Girls Day!

With my little man up in the mountains, I decided we needed to have a girls day......so I took Hope and Ashley up to Anthem to meet my BFF and her kids and spent the day at the water park!!!!!!

We had soooooooooooo much fun. Ash and I kept saying, "John would LOVE it here!" Sure miss the little guy but we'll definitely be back up to Anthem many more times this summer.

Here are pictures of Bailey and Hope today (little Brittany and Jill!)

For the record, Goose (John) is having the time of his life.....BUT, I am counting down the hours until he gets home tomorrow. Miss him like crazy!!!!!!!

Gone Camping

I just sent my baby boy on his first camping trip with Grams and Papa. He was beyond excited and I know he's having a fabulous time. I have many great childhood memories camping with my family and I am so excited that John is able to make those same memories with them too. I sure miss him though!

Memorial Weekend

We did a whole lot of swimming and barbecuing this weekend.......and enjoyed every minute of it!!!!!

Hopie took her very first dip in the pool on Sunday (screamed at first but enjoyed herself once she got used to it) and John swam all by himself (with his floaties) for the first time.

These two kids make me so proud!
